Just finished reading an amazing book about Alexander The Great, pure motivation, the man who set himself an almost impossible goal (as he said :There is nothing impossible to him who will try) conquer the whole world ( an he did conquer the known world then). He took his reign when he was 20 ,11 yrs later he was undefeated, and founded some 70 cities he conquered,22 of which he named after himself, lol .he died at age 32. The epic achievements pay home age to his simple philosophy on life.I would rather live a life of glory than a long one of obscurity. A strategist, tactician and a man of amazing drive!!!he took nothing for granted as he was obsessed with attention to details and uncompromising work ethic as he devise a plan for the largest attack ever attempted by a man. He was willing to out-plan, out-work, and outlast anyone. When odd was against him he refused to believe he couldnt succeed and was driven to win by any means necessary. He often didnt celebrate or rest after victories with his army but prefer to prepare for his next adventure . One of his hallmarks was, through diligent analysis and and planning, devising radically new strategies and tactics that his enemies had no preconceived defenses for.He didnt chase shortcuts,in some cases purposely avoided just to experience the glory of overcoming a gr8 challenge, like when he defeated Gr8 King Darius rather in daylight when he was advise to do it at night ,saying he want to leave him with no excuse, lol .He didnt beg for the favor of the gods;he strove to overawe them!!! If I could say it only one word what learned or inspired from this ......I will say .....Drive!!,
