Just finished viewing Tomorrow Is Yesterday. I can see why my father enjoyed this episode. Being an Air Force veteran during the latter years of the Vietnam Conflict(i.e. 1968 and 1969), it is not so surprising. Not a bad episode. It is also very entertaining and has some humorous moments. Plus, it gives us a glimpse as to what lies ahead in the future of space travel. Hopefully, the political shortsightedness that has been plaguing the Space Administration as of late will be brushed aside, indefinitely. Mankind cannot stay on Earth, forever. If the human race is to ever have a future, he is going to have to break the surely bonds of his world and expand outward. Something that should have happened a long time past. The episode also paid homage to a couple of other historical subjects. Time Travel and what the U.S. Air Force describes as Project Bluebook(the search for evidence concerning various and unexplained UFO sightings). Who hasnt thought about traveling back in time and correcting the many mistakes that we or the human race has made over the years? But if such an option ever existed, would changing that mistake be for the better or for the worst? Would such an interference make a situation an even more fragile one? Sometimes the smallest of actions(no matter how well the intentions)can often be the ones with the most huge of repercussions. Something that the late Ray Bradbury once pointed out in his classic science fiction story A Sound Of Thunder. https://youtube/watch?v=w8cKMPh7KOg
