Just finished watching Blackfish. Heartbreaking, doesnt even begin to describe it. It shames me to admit, and I would be a hypocrite not to admit it, but I paid to swim with Dolphins at Atlantis in 2007. And even though, since January of 2008, I have not eaten an animal (land or sea) bought myself leather, wool or for Gods sake fur products, and have donated a chunk of our retirement to a myriad of animal organizations, it will never be enough to erase the contributory damage perpetuated by my purchase of that Dolphin swim. Please DO watch Blackfish (and The Cove) and please DO NOT patronize marine or animal parks. Blackfish is being aired for a few days on CNN. Check your local airtimes. The Cove is brutal. It took me almost a full week to get through the whole movie, but now I know and can make a conscious effort to stop it.
