Just finished watching an interview by Fareed Zakaria on CNN, of Philip K. Howard author of THE RULE OF NOBODY. After listening to it, this book should be read by ALL! Talks about being a country of laws....antiquated laws. He is also the founder of COMMON GOOD group. Did anyone know that only 3% of the 800 million stimulus actually made it to the infrustructure improvement jobs that it was intended for? Where did it go? According to him not even the POTUS could overrule the enviromental review process and political correctness. I do not know this for a fact, but my small town instincts would guess the legal world and political allies consumed the lions share. I do not think it matters what part of the politcial landscape you adhere to, it is time to read this book and start voting accordingly, for the good of our combined future. We have to stop trying to correct the past, it will not make a better future.
