Just found out that Cebu had another earthquake incident today. . . may I call on my FB friends and families to join us in prayer . . . HSOL PRAYER IN TIMES OF CALAMITIES Heavenly Father, We humbly come together as one Christian family. You have proven to us time and time again the Greatness and Beauty of Your Love. And always, we have taken these for granted. We seek for Your mercy and forgiveness. We may recognize Your Greatness and Your Merciful Love for us, Mankind, but have failed so many times to give back to You our appreciation. Please forgive us. It is always only in times of calamities and troubles that we remember to call out Your Name. Help us, dear Father, that we shall always keep You at the center of our lives. For only You, dear Lord, can bring us true peace, salvation and happiness. As we pray together for our brothers and sisters in the earthquake and typhoon stricken areas especially in Bohol, Tacloban, Leyte and Cebu, we trust, dear Father, that You are now in our midst. Show us Your Mercy and Love once again. O God, who has established the earth upon firm foundations, graciously receive the Prayers of Your people; and having utterly removed the dangers of the shaken earth, Turn the terrors of Your Divine wrath into the means of the salvation of mankind; that They who are of the earth, and unto earth shall return, may rejoice to find themselves Citizens of heaven by means of a holy life. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen. Father, giver of life and giver of all good things, pour out Your unending blessings far beyond what the families victimized by the catastrophe deserve. Shower them with your love and comfort in this difficult time of loss and pain. Envelope them with Your warmth to keep them calm and at peace despite the chaos around them, and to protect them from further discomforts and diseases. Strengthen their faith, brighten their hope and help them carry their yoke that they may endure the present sufferings. We also pray for all those who have unselfishly shared their blessings, prayers and time for all the victims. Their significant sacrifices, generosity and kindness to others are a testimony that miracles do happen and that God lives in us. These we pray in the mighty Name of Jesus and through the special intercession of Our Dear Blessed Mother Mary. Amen.
