Just getting in from watching the movie Selma. It has given me a whole new outlook on some of the things I took for granted... I couldnt imagine living during that time; I can barely wrap my mind around constantly called inferior, never allowed to enter the front entrance, not allowed to vote, being beaten, killed, etc. I owe it to my ancestors, and everyone from every race that was killed or injured for the cause of liberty, freedom, and equality, everyone who could never own a business, and live as we do today... I owe them, at the least, to take advantage of every right that was fought for and to be a great man. People died, white and black, trying to fight for what many of us take for granted. I needed to see that movie. You cant pay me to take life for granted and waste away with no purpose... people fought too hard, too long... If I have anything to do with my destiny, and I do, Im going make all of the efforts of the past worth it by the life I live today... #SELMA #SELMA MOVIE
