Just glanced at the Sunday Herald cover for tomorrow published on Twitter. Apparently Salmond has said the unionist parties will pay a heavy price if they veto a currency union - post independence - as suggested. It strikes me, thinking back to the debate on Tuesday night, that Salmond ought to have pressed Alastair Darling for his Plan B, C, D and so forth in the event of a yes vote and no currency union. I assume he - or rather the unionist campaign - has one? If not, how embarrassing. Understand, I am impartial and in no way offering my support to either campaign. It just seems a logical and more cutting retort. Perhaps all will out in the BBC debate in two weeks time?
