Just got a Welcome to IBM Support email which reads Now that you have opened a Service Request with IBM, you should know that our IBM global support network is always ready to assist when you need help Now the first SPR/PMR I raised by phone, was in Nov 1986 for a CICS problem on a SYS370/148 so while I applaud the sender (one Luis Pineda) of acknowledging me I would have perhaps hoped the speed of that acknowledgment would have been a tad more brisk. You will be please to hear the CICS problem was sorted and closed some 2 hours after it was opened.
