Just got asked If Id like to buy a copy of The Big Issue..... I politely declined and passed the time of day with the homeless couple crouched in the doorway of KFC. I then made my way into KFC to pick up Linzi Wilkinsons order for when she finished work. As well as her order I requested an extra portion of large fries. As I left with my brown paper bag, I stopped once again and spoke to the homeless lad and lady. Its not much guys but it will warm your cockles for now With that I handed over the fries. The guy, John he said his name was put down his pile of Big Issues and gave me the biggest hug and the girl, in a shy voice said thankyou..... Despite their circumstances they were jovial and polite, and probably (right or wrong) did not give a flying f**k whether the fries came from a Halal friendly establishment or not.
