Just got back from Duke, after visiting some sisters and family in VA. As some of you know, six (6) months ago Rod was diagnosed with inoperable stage 3B non small cell lung cancer and in the lymph nodes. After being told bluntly 6 months ago that he had a 30% chance of living 3 years (with treatment) God said different. The Dr.s were ready for another round of chemo but cant do chemo on something that is dead. Thats right, 80% of the tumor is dead and 20% is scar tissue. Dr.s, nurses and staff were amazed. We had people crying, thanking God, and people praying that dont normally pray. Dr. kept trying to find SOMETHING but we knew this was gone, way before now. Its called unfailing faith. He goes back in 3 months for another scan then 6 months after that. When medicine and all other options fail, God stands faithful and true to his promises. Thank You to all of you who prayed, sent us good thoughts, called, asked about us and provided help with our hotels, gas and food. We can never thank you enough for all the moral support we had. Thank You Lord for healing my sweet heart
