Just got back from a five-week seminar tour of the NorthEast. And what a trip it was. Fun seminars and workshops but I suffered poison oak for four weeks, caught a cold in Boston from the excesses of corticosteroid, pulled a muscle in CT backpedaling when training a collie during a workshop, excruciating foot cramps from dehydration in New Jersey (thank youth everyone who gave me Smart Water, bananas and magnesium) and then abdominal pains during another workshop in Exton PA. Ive only been home for five days and barely caught up but have to leave for OZ tomorrow for three and a half weeks of workshops —Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Actually, I now have to leave for Australia TODAY. I didnt realize how late it is. And I still have to pack! Come August, I am going to stay home and read in the sunshine. And the poison oak is BACK!!! Must have been clothes that I wore. (I washed them all several times.) So itll be 14+ hours of itching while flying downunder. Ohhh! Technu and antihistamines relieve me of this misery. But Im going to meet up with lots of friends in Australia and visit my favorite bar — dog-friendly Little Creatures in Fremantle. Looking forward to the trip. Why am I writing this? This is not getting my bags packed.
