Just got back from an incredible week of spreading the sport of disc golf at a summer camp for children with bleeding disorders. What an amazing experience executing a program that Justin Bond and I have had envisioned for so long. Huge thank you to Prodigy Disc and Music City Disc Golf for the generous donation of discs and hats for the kids at the camp, and Tommy Slaton for baskets. The 350rx plastic is perfect for first time throwers of all ages, and really made the program a huge success. There are lots of people out there that talk about #growthesport but getting out there and doing it is all that matters. Spending 7 days with kids from ages 7-15 and igniting a passion for the game has been an unforgettable experience. Bringing the sport to youth is what grows the sport in the future, and Justin and I showed the sport to 100 people this week that had never thrown a golf disc.
