Just got back from taking my friend, Margie, back to Creighton Hospital in Omaha for a post surgery checkup (she is doing well) and some adjustment to her condition. We had just entered when I ran across my friend and fellow Union College Board member, Dr Garth Fletcher. I know my friends in the Union College community know him well. Dr Fletcher is on the faculty of Creighton University Medical College teaching, I believe, in the pediatric department. He told me how much he enjoyed his recent trip to Peru with College Chaplin, Rich Carlson, and students from Union working with the Peru Projects organization. Said he hopes to do it again in several years. Union is fortunate to have a person of his caliber on the board.
