Just got back from the Hilda Gurney clinic and got a great compliment from one of my boarders. She said something along the lines of this: You know I saw and learned a lot at the clinic, but I was most surprised at the fact that it is all the same stuff I hear from you. Nice to feel like Ive gotten through to my students and to see them appreciate my knowledge and for me to realize all the excellent training Ive received over the years is getting passed along. Im so proud of my student Heather Rudd for getting a chance to ride with Hilda. Because of the quality of gaits, Hilda was able to jump right into teaching her vs. having to develop a more correct horse. She made me proud and made Hilda smile more than in any other lesson...I think Hilda was having a lot of fun and really challenging Heather and KK to be perfect! Great job and kudos to all the riders who made it through some very critical lessons today.
