Just got doubly thanked for encouraging a tutor I work with who has been at Starting Point for ten years to finish her thesis and specially invited to this Jamaican teachers graduation. Was quite a connecting event. Had met her friend, daughter, and best friend who works with a Bahai. There were a couple of students and some more of her family. One student led us in prayer holding hands and talked about racism and other social issues. I think her thesis is on African-Americans and self esteem and we were at a school based on the Adlerian theory of psychology. How dynamic! It this kind of service relationship that brings me great joy and takes away my loneliness...She graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy in the Disciplines of Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling, was a speaker there though some info was possibly accidentally left out of the program.
