Just got home from Russia and my mum rings me... wants to c i got home ok. yes mum and that i had heard about whats happening in Russia. well , actually apparantly a lot of shenanagins are a foot there! Terrorism comes from the French word terrorisme, and originally referred specifically to state terrorism as practiced by the French government during the 1793–1794 Reign of terror. Interesting to see that nowadays its usually used by governments to label pretty much anything or anyone they want to get rid of as terrorists and use terms as anti-terrorism to pretty much cover anything they want without specifically telling us what they are doing. So great to see Russia regressing into the dark ages once again while proposing to ban gmail, skype, facebook and twitter cos they are forums of terrorism? um yeah right. might as well ban the church. oh yeah actually the russian orthodox church is in cohoots with the government(c pussy riot!). how about banning holidays. holidays is where you are not working and hence possibly being mind controlled by extremists. that makes as much sence as labeling skype with terrorist overtones... sometimes, honestly the stupidity of man really does suprise me and how people just go along with it. How long before many other countries follow suit. Apparantly Turkey banned Twitter, so has China and Vietnam but u can use a VPN to get around it easily. The world has gone mad. i remember reading something about Texan congressman Joe Barton saying at a 2009 hearing, - that wind is a finite resource and that harnessing it would slow the winds down which would cause the temperature to go up. Wow really. Unfortunately for americans, Joe Barton has actually quite a loud voice and some people in power are listening to him. He should get together with Putin. Imagine what those two could wangle up . howabout organic food creates terrorism. or renewable energy creates terrorism.
