Just got off a call explaining all the tax advantages and benefits we receive by having a home based direct sales business. We actually have the best of all worlds...we are basically independent agents compensated totally on team volume performance...while our partnered company handles all the tax implications, government approvals/regulations, inventory management, logistics and delivery, payment processing, customer service, payroll, and legal liabilities. The best part of being in our profession is at the end of the year when we get to claim so many expenses on our personal Income Taxes as a sole proprietor. So you might be thinking this all sounds to good to be true right? Well, I probably thought the same way just 20 years ago when I started doing this as a part-time proprietor combining it with my full-time corporate income...but now after all these years my home business has become my full-time profession.
