Just got this email:Item B at the City Council this Tuesday at 7:00 is a right of way permit for Bisbee Vogue to hold the Ironman Ice Competition on September 20th from 7:00AM to 1:30PM. Item D is for a Special Event License Application For the Bisbee Bazaar & Beer Buzz on September 20th From 9:00AM to 4:00 PM. Once again Cynthia is advertising new events without first getting the permits from the City. A front page story was printed in The Review advertising these events. Once again she is trying to bully the city to get what she wants. As a resident with the only access to my house the stairs this event is held on I do not want my life disturbed any further by having another day of complete disruption. The event should stay on the same day as the rest of the stair climb. As a business owner I maintain that Cynthias event mania is not helpful to the promotion of Bisbee as a tourist and shopping destination, they cause too much congestion and drive out the actual customer base. Cynthias continual arrogance and bullying, including telling my neighbor on the stairs and myself that a big mean policeman would arrest us if we tried to walk on the stairs to our houses during her event, should not be encouraged. If you can come to the council meeting on tuesday to help stop her it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to forward this email to those who may help.
