Just got to make some of our neighborhood kids night. The lawn between our building and the next is a popular place for kids to play football, ultimate frisbee, etc., especially on non-school nights like tonight. I walked outside and asked if they wanted our leftover Halloween candy. (They thought we were going to tell them they were too loud, but I actually like hearing their laughter while Im cooking dinner!) I gave them the bag and enjoyed watching the group dynamics as they divided the candy among themselves. (And these Southern young gentlemen made sure the only girl in their group got first picks!) Such a joy to share some chocolate love with our neighbors! Also a joy to get rid of it, as we dont need that much chocolate temptation in our house!
