Just had the best & long awaited news. A huge thanks to Marcus & Cathetine for their tremendous efforts. Everyone please meet MATILDA. So many people donated so we were able to purchase her. A huge thanks to our vet in Kenya also. Chez and Hilary, We have wonderful news for you: Meet Matilda After a very hard look to find the best milking cow, which we have learnt is not easy, we have found Mailda! We managed to get the price down from Ksh100,000 to 70,000 with the help of our relentless vet. She really helped us find this one and we got her from Kinangop, which is a highlands area about an hour or so from town. Its been difficult as all the cows Catherine has seen were either way to expensive or not that healthy. So she arrived on the weekend and has already provided two days worth of milk for the school as well as some small sales! We have installed lighting at the cow shed and Dennis sole job is now with the cows. We will be sharing this on Facebook and twitter as well as our newsletter. But wanted you to be the first to see her so you can share it with all your lovely generous people.
