Just had the privilege of chatting with a lovely older gentleman in the airport... Whats taking him to Dayton? For the last 40 years, he & his three best friends have met up for a model airplane convention, and he has never missed one. When I remarked that they must really enjoy model planes, he said Well yeah, theyre fun, but its really just an excuse to get together. I am teary-eyed-excited for this weekend, and even more excited at the thought of that being us in 35 years.
