Just had to share some AWESOME news with everyone who has been sharing this journey with myself and Dean. Jut spoke with the Hematologist, Dr. Wu about the results from the ultrasound which was done yesterday. She said there was a marked improvement; most of the blocked veins in the right arm and neck region have recanalized, which in lay terms means the blood is flowing in the areas that were previously blocked by clots. She indicated there is still one small area at the base of my neck and a vein which runs from there into my arm, that remains blocked; she felt it was probably scar tissue from the original clot. Said that less than 2% of the blood vessels shown to be blocked or damaged in the original ultrasound done May 04 2014, remain unchanged. All in all Mr. Silver, this is very good news, from the perspective of a hematology point of view. Oh WOW!!!! This is AWESOME NEWS!!!! Such a relief!!!
