Just heard exciting news! The Australian premiere of Bring it On - The Musical is auditioning shortly. This is a paid gig and the audition pack is on the website bringitonthemusical.au Key creatives from The Regals Musical Society (who I worked with in Footloose last year Tracey Michelle Rasmussen, Peter Sharratt, Julian Batchelor, Rod Herbert), will be producing and directing this so it comes highly recommended. High energy dancing, gymnastics and singing will be needed for this highschool cheerleading friendship / romance story. It will be a big one to look out for when it shows in June at the Parade Theatre! Pass It On!! I won’t be going for these auditions - I’ve already got my hands full with “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” (showing in May) - even though the rehearsals have kindly been set for different weeknights. Besides I’m a little outside the required 18-26 age range, and I haven’t done a cartwheel in ages - in fact, ever! Maybe this is inspiration to try!
