Just in today rare Resistance made 9mm FN Browning Hi Power P.640(b) These pistols were made in Occupied Belgium designated the P.640(b) for use by the German armed forces.Belgian plant workers would build these pistols and sneak them out to the resistance, the Germans watched the workers closely and the penalty for sabotaging a gun or stealing gun parts was death. They are also known as lunch box specials and are very hard to find. The pistol has all the features of a lunch box special the main one is the lack of legend on the slide.Included is a photocopy of a check list of all the features of the gun that make it a resistance made gun and four pages of the Anthony Vanderlinden book on FN pistols featuring the lunch box specials. The pistol is waffenampt stamped to the front of the mussel and just above the trigger, it is serial numbered 457.In the picture there appears to be wear to the bluing just above the trigger however this is just the photo and all bluing is in fact intact. The gun has been professionally refinished to a very high standard.
