Effect of Juice PLUS+® on skin health A study, published recently in a leading skin physiology journal, has demonstrated that Juice PLUS+® improves a selection of markers of skin health. This is the first Juice PLUS+® study on this area of health, and provides some exciting results, such as improved skin density and thickness, skin hydration and circulation in the small blood vessels (capillaries) around skin cells. Fifty two healthy women aged 40-65 years took Juice PLUS+® Fruit and Vegetable blend capsules or placebo for 12 weeks in the winter. Objective measurements were made of the skin of the inner forearm. A statistically significant change in skin density was noted over time, together with significant improvements in micro circulation, skin hydration, oxygen content of the cells and a reduction in water loss from the skin surface. The positive results of this study provide strong evidence that Juice PLUS+® is a good dietary addition for people wishing to look good and look after their skin, through its impact on microcirculation and improvement of skin physiology.
