Just learned the craziest thing; Mel Blanc, the voice actor for oldschool Looney Toons, apparently was in a car accident and in a coma for 14 days during his career. The doctor had tried to say, Mel, can you hear me?. It happened that Bugs Bunny was on the radio. So, the doctor said, Bugs, can you hear me?, and Mel replied, ehhh, whats up doc?. Then the doctor said, Porky, can you hear me? and a Porky voice went, I-I-I-I-I think so. The cartoon characters were in him so well, and his acting was so skilled that he responded to it, which got him out of the coma. Thats art for you.
