Just like happiness isnt always obviously blissful, depression isnt always silent. Sometimes it is extroverted, loud, hilarious, and charming...and purposefully hidden. Many times out of shame, pressure, or fear, but always for the wrong reasons. Maybe your friend really is living a fantastic life, or maybe that smile always falls off quietly when he or she turns away. Dont let awkwardness or fear of change stop you from asking the important questions, because a friends continued life is always a better option than a heartfelt and tearful eulogy. Robin Williams taught us a lot of great jokes, and more than a couple life lessons. Lets not make his saddest, and yet, most important one fade into obscurity. Dont just hear, listen. And dont just watch, see. A great and funny person died sad and alone today...lets do everything in our power to not let that happen tomorrow.
