Just like the rain makes every living thing grow, obstacles and hardships in each of our lives stimulate a lot more growth than walking the easy road. Can we accept the challenge to grow with an open mind and heart, thankful for the opportunity to struggle, because we know it will make us stronger in the end and draw us closer to God? Or will we duck and cover, content at where we are in our spiritual and emotional state and too afraid to confront challenges head-on, complaining about the thorn in our flesh?
