Colour - Hillwalker I find this fibre medium soft and have a handspun cowl which Im comfortable wearing next to my skin, though dont expect the same softness as Merino. Its easier to spin than slippery fibres, a Down breed, having spring, wool full of bounce with a slight crimp. I love it for socks Its known to be quite resilient to water and so not maybe ideal for felting. Hand wash, this isnt superwash. I think if deserves to be spun more often , it dyes really well and is fun to spin.Give it a try Im sure youll like it.
