Just listening to OvalTalk live on the radio... Saying that they reckon Coventry stadium is pretty much past its time as the gentleman said... Yes, Coventry stadium may be looking quite old and tired however I follow both speedway and stockcar racing and I can safely say not many tracks Ive been to have such good facilities as this stadium has! Take the toilets for example; The door will lock, the toilets are clean at the start of each meeting... (Obviously they arent going to be so good once everyone starts using them!) Last time I went to Northampton for example I got stuck in the toilet for 10 minutes as the door locked itself without even having a lock on it... The bog seat was broken, floors were disgusting... Eventually I had to pretty much kick the door full on open just so I could free myself! Not slating any other stadium, I do think Northamptons a great little venue but the main concern there and for many people I have overheard is that the toilets are not upto at least somewhat decent standards! Save Coventry stadium, support the bees, support the racing, keep it running for another 30 years!
