Just listening to all of the discussions on Parental authority regarding the use of corporal punishment with our children in lieu of the recent arrest. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, but when parents loose the ability to discipline their OWN children, we will contribute to the prison population. Children who are not disciplined at home will be disciplined by the prison system. We must teach boundaries and sometimes a switching is necessary. Of course, we are talking about sensible parents. There is no law without consequences ~ children learn this at home!! If you allow your child to go unchecked they will not only run over you but unleash on others. Discipline without love is obviously a problem. At the point a parent cannot discipline their children at home, this country is headed for a down fall. THE PRISON IS FULL OF PEOPLE WHO DID NOT RESPECT AUTHORITY...and it starts at home!
