Just one more day until the start of Orientation Week! While the Orientation Week focused on providing quality interaction time between children and teachers, I am sure the children who are attending the school for the first time would be keen to explore the surroundings or get to know a new friend or two :-) For those children who are returning to the school after the long break, it is without a doubt that they will be excited to see their friends again and we are equally or more excited to continue their learning journey with them! :-) Parents, please dont feel left out in all this excitement... there is plenty of your involvement that is required too! Firstly, start the day (everyday in fact!) with a big smile :-D Show your child/children that you are keen to be a participant in their lives by starting a conversation with them about what to expect for the day/week and follow-up with some questions to find out more about what they had experienced during the day at school. Its the little things like these that makes a huge difference to a childs life :-) We are looking forward to another fantastic year ahead! See you soon :-)
