Just one more random thought... Why arent we utilizing wind energy more? Turbines strategically placed in the most windswept areas of the country could add to our green energy production. Ive heard the arguments about how turbines are unsightly, etc. I guess oil rigs arent? Or cell towers? Or freaking billboards? Yes, I realize that most billboards are shorter than turbines would be, but still, they are a blight on the skyline and dont have any value to anyone except the entity doing the advertising. Like solar energy and hydro energy these are clean, renewable, sustainable forms of energy that dont damage the planet. Why arent we using them?
