Just putting it out there, because I guess its not so obvious to some. Yesterday when voting I insisted in being identified by my picture drivers license. None of the three ladies at the table asked me for it and one of them, the Republican auditor in fact, told me Im not required to show my ID. This is an off year election so some would argue even if voter fraud happened yesterday the damage is limited to the locality. Let me say in no uncertain terms, I DONT CARE THE AMOUNT OF FRAUD, ITS WRONG. let me show you how easy it is. You get a group who wants to commit fraud. About one or two months before the election in the district(s) they want to effect they put on a front and they ask poll questions. In there somewhere, they ask your name, where you live and if you intend to vote. If I have 50 fraudulent votes cast in a swing district then how mush does that effect things? If someone can obtain a legal ID and prove who they are as far as being legal to vote then where is the disenfranchisement? I dont want 17 year old legal citizen American kids voting any more than I want any illegal aliens voting. Its fraud, its not right and it disenfranchises my legal vote and yours. I challenge anyone to find a racist statement in this article. There needs to be a law to require ID verification in all elections for both the state and federal elections and even local elections. I dont know about you, but Id like to preserve the most free nation on the planet.
