Just putting my 2 cents in about the Ray Rice & Adrian Peterson allegations: The timing of both of these allegations sure seems mighty convenient to coincide with the opening week of NFL season. Reports have stated the investigations in the Peterson case & the video in the Rice case have been around for several months, Why Wait?......Perhaps its just another effort (from the powers that be) to destroy Americas New Pastime. The Old Pastime , Baseball, was destroyed a few years back. NOW, Baseball doesnt even resemble our National Pastime or even an American Sports Game anymore, MLB appears to resemble a Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuban Sport these days......The NFL is Our Sport Now & it really does seem, given the way theyre cracking down on contact & trying to end extra point kicks etc, along with timing the Breaking News allegations about players (and yes people, they are only allegations at this point) with Opening Week of the season.......What better way to attempt to destroy Our game.......I dont know, folks, you tell me?
