Just read a true story, Ex service man Falkland vet now a oap on benefit who helps in his local community, he looks after ex soldier,s helping them with ie shopping, paying bills, and being some one they can talk to. Last week he was wearing his campaign medals he walked into local Job Center. the person he spoke to said he was looking very smart today, he told her he had been selling Poppy,s to help out the British Legion. The next week his benefit was stopped he asked why he was told that he had not informed them he was working.... He told them he was not getting payed it was voluntary un payed help, it took the job center 4 weeks to resolve this...... Bloody Disgrace........
