Just read yesterdays post and had to do a few edits ........ Regular listeners might pick up I have a wee bit of hassle with, spelling, missing words out , punctuation, ‘n’ stuff . In 1959 I was diagnosed along with a whole swath of my contemporaries, as being thick by the teachers at Woodchurch ( Kent) primary school. However to give them their due the repeated slapping and humiliations in front of class did have its effect on that seven year old (apart from wetting the bed) lt made him long term angry, resentful and to his shame, vengeful. Had an augment with a dentist of my own age, who wanted to charge me a lot of dosh for some sort of posh cap. When I dared to suggest he was a ucking robber, his defence was, he had spent seven years at university training to be a dentist .
