Just received the best news in a long while.. I dont disclose a lot of personal problems on Facebook nor do like to, but here it goes: My Granpa has been losing his sight for a while now, but in the past few months it has degenerated very quickly. It was difficult to watch because looking at him, you could tell that his quality of life had decreased quite a lot as a result. So they decided to do something about it. They took him to a doctor to measure how severe the problem was and found cataracts in his eyes. It took two tries because they were so dense. They decided to have the one in his good eye removed and see if that helps. I say this because he also suffers from glaucoma and macular degeneration so it could have been an unsolvable problem. The surgery was yesterday. Today the doctor said his eyesight is 20/20.
