Just received the kindest thank you note from Deborah, a recent Mother of the Bride at the Mansion: Kate, Martin & Paula, I don’t quite know where to start to thank you for the perfect wedding weekend. It was truly magical! But, being a lawyer I will not resist the temptation to put into words our gratitude even though words cannot fully capture how we all feel. First, you have done such an amazing job with the property I cannot imagine a more perfect venue for Morgan and Zach, from the grounds and brickwork throughout to the lanterns and candles hung from the trees and adorning the brick walls in the ceremony and cocktail areas alike. And, the tent was spectacular with the chandeliers, back lighting and beautiful linens. The cottages and suites were fabulous and so comfortable – we loved being able to stay on site. Talk about a stress reliever! Your staff is awesome and works together so seamlessly. Kate was calmly by our side throughout all of the preparations and the day of the wedding attending to details with the rest of your staff with which I didn’t even know I should be concerned. Kate and your amazing team allowed me to spend most of the day Saturday relaxing with family and strolling throughout the grounds watching the magic of the day come to life. Kate made sure that we all were where we needed to be, when we needed to be there, and the ceremony came off without any worries. She was such a joy to work with – thank you, Kate, with all our heart. Martin, I have lost count of the number of guests that have told me what a great time they had at the reception and what a great D.J. you are – you made the party fun! One of our guests was a mid-90 year old tiny Scottish lady who told me she even got out on the dance floor to do “one of those modern things where you move your feet up and down.” Certainly my daughter was having the time of her life! And, breakfasts were fabulously delicious and served with a big smile by Mary – what a delight she is and certainly true to your service motto - a hostess with the most gracious manner. What can I say, but from beginning to end you and all of your staff were just amazing to work with and delivered a fairytale wedding weekend for our precious daughter and her new husband.
