Just recieved a cold call...long pause, lady started to speak as I was putting the phone down. She rang back...long pause...I put the phone down. She rang back, I did not pick up. She left a message on my answerphone to call me an idiot and generally be rude. 1) My Mums recently died, Im fending calls, I do not want to speak to a cold caller. 2) Im on telephone preference, you should not be calling me, I wont talk to cold callers. 3) If I dont want to talk to you I will not answer, this is my choice and no reason to call me an idiot. I actually attempted to call back and explain this...number unrecognisable. If I knew who you worked for I would report you. I appreciate it may not be a great job, but tough. Thanks...rant over....climbs off soap box!
