Just reconnected with someone a hadnt see in like 16 years. She begins to tell me how over that absent time shes been abused, raped and molested in her teenage years by people that she trusted in the church. It broke my heart because at one time we had a strong bond but we lost touch. It breaks my heart that I wasnt there to protect her or stand up for her. It angers me that people will take the innocence of our sons and daughters. To those Men and Women that have been raped and or molested in the church by a someone you trusted or a minister, Elder, Pastor or by their children...I apologize!!!! I pray that God will heal your heart and that you will forgive your violator not for him/her but for yourself so you can be free!!!! To those violators I pray that you will seek deliverance and repentance because more than likely youve been violated yourself...however today is your day of accountability.
