Just recovered from 9 days away on 3 seperate events, firstly the BYCAC on Oxlease was mega, the juniors smashed the living daylights out of the lake and it was a pleasure to be there with all involved. It was then over the road for the annual MNDA charity event on Brasnose, well everyone raised a massive £34k of which Roy Russell and myself gave £3580 from the Terry Hearn and Adam Penning Carp Angler slide shows in Stafordshire, lastly the Kev Green day at Lemington Lakes was fantastic, loads of anglers there to show their support for the great man who sadly passed away this time last year. It was a tough slog to be away for that long on the bank, but very worth it, it kind of puts things into perspective when you think its only fishing, and my god there are people in a lot worse situations, im now off to bathe my mosquito ridden trotters......XXX
