Just returned from a four day trip to North Carolina. Our homecoming weekend was highlighted by a special meeting after 50 years ( 1963) our CIAA championship team that is in the CIAA hall of fame . the players met for the first time since our 1963 football season. I had a great time .My college was North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. Incredible time and inspiring meeting brothers who played football. The Ques had a tailgate party which was exceptional. Our school is something to behold. so many positive changes and the people there are still very friendly. One of our players we called Money Bags is the son of a rich insurance company North Carolina Mutual is who is a spaulding brother we met named george Spaulding is running for governor of North carolina. I wish him luck. also had chance to see all my relatives including my daughter and two granddaughters before i left. The lord has blessed me again .
