Just saw a gentleman coming off the train visually impaired, I happened to notice him ..CAUSE I WAS OFF MY PHONE this time =) , he was staying still hesitant to move because he was aware that the train would be taking off.... Every one scurried passed him almost expecting him to move out of their way, it is crazy how people dont show courtesy anymore nowadays NOT EVEN FOR A BLIND MAN, at least just to walk around him and let him stand still till he thinks its safe to walk....I was waiting for a second to ask him if he needed help getting off the platform...but it took me a second cause believe it or not...I am kinda shy at times. So Im glad I was off my phone cause for the block that I walked him to a familiar zone ..Mr. Everett and I had pleasant conversation....that I WOULD HAVE ENTIRELY MISSED HAD I HAD MY FACE BURIED IN THE PHONE....LOL GUYS ..THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS PUT THE TECHNOLOGY DOWN AND TALK TO A HUMAN ....PERSON IN THE FLESH ...HECK EVEN HELP THEM EXIT A TRAIN PLATFORM SAFELY OR CROSS THE STREET. =) who knows their words or experience may even be ENLIGHTENING to you. #BeGreat #BeNice
