Just saw the LEGO movie. It was okay, But the live action portion with Will Ferrell kinda killed the immersion. Yes, It added a sort of lesson and a little emotional impact and such, but it really wasnt necessary as the character interaction built it more powerfully. The only emotion that it built for me was disappointment. The LEGO movie built upon a universe of its own, and the live action part killed it.
