Just seen a Short film called Muhurtham... The director wanted to show a parting couple bidding adieu to their love and the girl moving on for marriage with a different guy... Now the jilted lover takes her to a bar and gulps two beers before pouring out his emotions... Now is that necessary? Leaving that apart, couldnt the director think differently than making the already guilt-prone girl even more guilty? Why did not the guy yield to the girls family and say that hes ready to tie the knot instead of waiting for three years? When he knew that the girls family cant stand questions from the society, why did he not compromise for one bit? The girl is magnanimous to convince her parents but it is correct on her part to cut the relation. It is the failure of her lover to have guts to take the relationship to next level... The director made the girl guilt-prone but the guilt should be on the guy, who has no remorse in letting his girl go and also derives pleasure in making her feel even more guilty.
