Just shared some nutritional tips with a client and deem it worthy of sharing with you, you lucky thing you. Maybe you will pick up something that can help you to eat and feel better, maybe not, have a looksy.... You have to find what is right for you. I know it sounds shitty and boring and a bit of a cop out from my behalf, but that is my belief. I have heard many people get results from so many different approaches. Each has there merits but it has to fit in with your lifestyle. The worst thing you can do is stress over your food! Take little bits from every source but make sure it sounds TRUE for you. then test and measure (and by measure I mean appropriate to your goals- maybe weight loss, more energy, overcoming a specific health problem). Here are the basics that I use as a guideline: As much fruits and veggies as you feel sustains you. Go organic when you can When hungry, eat. Forget the clock. Meat is personal choice, but small portions for sure (up to you this one) Good healthy fats are amazing (EV olive oil, fish oil, coconut oil) Indulge in sometimes foods like chocolate- sometimes! Listen to your body before during and after eating, tune in to digestion & energy levels Listen in to your body, see how it feels physically and emotionally after eating. Be super conscious of the food you eat (basically be mindful every time you eat and have gratitude for the food you are eating). Sounds simple but you will be breaking the habits of a lifetime by doing these simple things. Feel free to SHARE for your friends if you found this useful...
