Just sharing my great xperience from a well known high end bikeshop.. Recently my ultegra 6700 sti stuck up on me while doing a routine bike maint. So i ask a near bikeshop but they say i should consider replacing it..since its not that easy to replce bcos its xpensive i seek the help of fellow cyclist at RBP, some say its just a busted cable..or something in the mechanism is broken..due to the time constraint. some1 suggest that i should go to LIFECYCLE at greenhills shopping center since they are open till 8pm..nxt morning a called and confirm it..im rushing my way home to pick up my bike and cycle 8km to get To the shop when i got there the store keeper already ready to leave and lights are already off..but they saw me approaching and i was also hesitant to continue but they wave me in and ask what i want..i xplain my problem and they offer to leave my bike since the mechanic already cycling their way home and return tommorow to pick it up..they also said that they willl call me f they bump in to any issue..i also leave some cables to be use.. that moment i was worried about the cost of work to be done..and considering they are a high end bikeshop.. Nxt day they called me around 11am and said it was finish its just need to replace the gum up cable due to normal wear and tear, i was relieve and happy..i picked up my bike around 6pm and to my suprised mechanic kuya ABEL put some cable tensioner thing (PHOTO ATTACH) to my cable housing to avoid the problem of stuck up shifter from happening again and to my suprise they are just charging me P100 for the labor and P100 for the tensioner..its not the cheapest out there for the labor, but for the storage overnight and a very good service and they also called me twice on mobile phone..but didnt charge me up, i was just very satisfy and top up some on the labor..i hope there are more shop out there that can accomodate Office Zombies like me during the day and only have time after office hours..more power to u guys out there u know hu u r...kudos for being true to ur consumers..
