Just sitting in an empty C4 (the classroom for 4th semesters here at Ross) getting ready for my last day of studying here on the island, I cant help but reflect back on the past 20 months and the adventures of my first 2 years of Medical school. From the countless hours of studying in these squeaky swivel chairs, the late nights studying (not too many) and early Saturday/Sunday mornings of study (lots of these) to the awesome adventures of swimming in waterfalls and hiking to a boiling lake. I cant help but have a huge grin on my face (even if I am about to spend 8 hours studying) because not only have I finished my first 2 years of medical school (about a fourth of the way of becoming a doctor :)) I have been able to make thousands of memories along the way. I am so thankful to my beautiful wife Chelsea for accompanying me along this journey and supporting me every bit of the way (couldnt have done it without her), all our friends and family back home who supported and prayed for us, and all our wonderful friends we have made on this journey that have helped us make it through. Ross University the past 2 years hasnt always been perfect, but I will forever be grateful to you as well, because you took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. Part of my heart will always be in Dominica, but this Georgia boy is ready to be back in Georgia :)
