Just so totally overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness; visits, food deliveries, messages, hugs, calls, flowers and words of positive inspiration. Thank you soooo much for all the loving; it has been a rough ride and it has given me the strength each day to rise up to the challenge. I am the luckiest duck alive:) Day 27 with uncontrolled fevers. Hot chick! I am very weak but wanted to check in to let you know that I should have an answer in 1-2 days then another 3 days in the happy hilton while we wait for for a positive response to the drug. So please turns any worries into healing vibes as we are almost there :) Special thanks for the truckload of healthy food from Tamara Clark Cosman, Shelley Gautreau, Lori Carle, Cindy Grant Monique Parent, Christie Ruff, Jane Buck George Daniel, Daryl Steeves Sabine Jurgens and Caroline Fewkes Mackay! I def have the lion share of the community fridge! I have a reputation now for having way too healthy food and green goo:) It is exactly what I need and am sooooo grateful. I am making myself eat to keep up the strength in this final sprint to the finish as Ive lost about 5% of my body weight bringing boney butt to new highs or lows depending on your perspective ;) Thank you to all who visited today and especially yesterday; procedure day. It was a rough one and I was very weak and emotional. I was still under sedation when Jeremy Townes came by and I am sorry to say that I have no recollection! The nurse reminded me that he came and showed me his note. So....dying to know Jeremy what I said!! I remember we had a get away plan! Thank you from coming anyway!!! Thank you to the big sweetheart Darlene Farrell who came representing my Wellness group at the refinery! So grateful for awesome nurses and outstanding Doctors esp Dr. Adreani my lung specialist!
